With almost two decades of experience building and scaling consumer brands, Dave has dedicated his career to partnering with visionary founders to unlock exponential growth in premium lifestyle brands. His background offers a rare combination: the strategic perspective of someone who has guided brands through multiple liquidity events and ownership transitions, paired with the hands-on execution capability to embed within companies and drive immediate impact.
Working alongside founders, he develops and executes integrated marketing campaigns, bolstering awareness and generating sales. One of his most valuable capabilities is structuring high-impact celebrity and brand partnerships that drive authentic awareness and revenue. He has significant experience navigating celebrity involvement in consumer brands, from sourcing and deal structuring to activation and measurement.
In 2012, most notably, he coordinated the launch of George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman’s Casamigos Tequila, alongside the founders. For several years, he served as global head of PR building the brand domestically and internationally.
He served as global head of global PR for WhistlePig Whiskey, leader of the premium rye whiskey category, from 2018-2022, helping to build the brand domestically and internationally, and consulted on all facets of marketing.
In 2019, he helped to coordinate the launch and for several years managed PR and provided brand consulting on all facets of marketing and sales on behalf of The Long Drink, onboarding celebrity partners and expanding the brand across the United States from 1 state to 50 and eventually to a ready-to-drink canned cocktail category leader.
Alongside Ireland’s renowned master distiller, Darryl McNally, he co-founded and revitalized Limavady Irish Whiskey. He then orchestrated Limavady partnering with WhistlePig Whiskey, folding the brand into WP’s portfolio.
Other brand work includes representation of the following brands in assorted capacities over the last two decades; The Silent Group, Wild AF, Morningside Brands, Duck Club Bourbon, Zamora Company, Calirosa Tequila, Casalu Hard Seltzer, Dead Rabbit Whiskey, NightOwl Martini, Black Cow Vodka, Hiatus Tequila, Ohza, Quintessential Brands Group, Boston Harbor Distillery, and many more.
He is also a co-founder at holding company Northeast Drinks Group. In 2021, NDG acquired the premier beverage manufacturing facility on the East Coast, Green Mountain Beverage, and a portfolio of brands.
He often serves in a consulting and advisory capacity for brands offering various services as it relates to marketing, PR, fundraising and go to market strategy.
Previously he served as head of marketing and PR for an alternative investment vehicle, Parvus Rex Capital, and marketing agency Parvus Rex PR & Media.
At the start of his career, from 2008-2012, he worked at an NYC-based agency, working on clients and projects including; La Palestra at The Plaza Hotel, designed by Frank Gehry; Grand Opening of Eataly New York; Grand Opening of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas; Re-launch of William C. Paley’s La Palina Cigar, a storied cigar brand famously linked to the early and fortuitous beginnings of CBS Broadcasting, Virgin Atlantic; Borgata Hotel Casino & Resort; The Ranch at Live Oak/Malibu; The Four Seasons Restaurant; James Beard Foundation Awards and Michelin Guide.
Additional spirits PR management has included Stoli Vodka, elit by Stolichnaya Vodka, and prestigious liquor brands by Rémy Cointreau Inc., including Louis XIII de Rémy Martin, Louis XIII Black Pearl, and Louis XIII Rare Cask.
